Building

It has been a crazy evening of "building" things: with John putting together a bookcase, Johnny trying to "help", mommy trying to distract Johnny from the bookcase building by taking him to his room, and subsequent building of LEGOs and playing with dinosaurs.  That boy is exhausting! :)

As soon as the box was opened, he was all over that like white on rice (must be a boy thing):

Johnny was claiming the box:

"Helping" daddy:

Putting together his Sesame Street LEGO people (Oscar the Grouch & Cookie Monster):

My LEGO interpretation of Jurassic Park (notice Rex from Toy Story trying to escape and the yellow man in the foreground being eaten by a vicious T-Rex):

Playing with his toys in front of his teepee that my parents had made for him for his first birthday (the woman who made it recently passed away from cancer...rest in peace & God bless, Gayle):

My troublesome, yet handsome, little monster:

After playing with LEGOs and blocks (Johnny kept destroying all the bridges & towers I built) we decided to round up all the dinosaur toys (not including other dinosaur items) and see how many he had...it was a lot...someone is a big dinosaur fiend, in fact he thinks he is a dinosaur:

Mommy & Johnny (keep in mind that it is 9 'o clock at night and I am tired and have been wrestling with a two year old on the ground):

Oscar the Grouch:

Johnny trying to escape his bedroom because he hears his daddy in the next room playing with tools without him:

John is halfway finished with the bookcase and will have to finish tomorrow.  Johnny came out of his room and immediately started climbing in it...that kid is a handful, I tell you:

Now we're off to bed because we have a long day tomorrow.  Happy Easter everyone!  God bless & love to all! :)

LOL I love the pics! Looks like tons of fun in little Johnny's room! and of course he IS a dinosaur that explains him having a large dinosaur family in his room! too cute!
