Funnels, Sunglasses, Dinosaurs, Binkies, Oh My!

I have been fighting a cold since the day we got back to Denver, so things haven't been the most thrilling around here.  However, in between the chaos of school, work, studying, cleaning, taking care of Johnny, blowing my nose, etc. I did manage to catch some pictures of John & Johnny being silly together or just other random pictures of Johnny being cute and/or silly. :)

(Yep, those are funnels. It amazes me how easily entertained guys are. No matter the age.)

(This is Johnny's alter ego: Cool Dude. Once the shades go on, he's "Cool Dude" and giggles every time you call him by his new name. Silly boy.)

(Since we have been back from our vacation, Johnny has insisted on eating his apples whole, and he will sit there and take bites off of it and eat 3/4 of the apple all by himself.  The other day he was sitting drinking his organic chocolate milk & eating his apple.  It made me painfully aware of how much he is growing up.  I love him so much.)

(Johnny was chilling with his new robotic dinosaur pet)

(This was this morning a little after Johnny woke up, hence the hair. ;) He decided he wanted to stick three binkies in his mouth at once...he's done two before, but this was a whole new challenge.  Silly boy.  And on a side note, this picture reminds me of the 4th of July.)

Now that I'm starting to feel better (I hope I didn't just jinx it!), hopefully we'll be able to get out and do more fun things.  I'm a bit bummed, because the weather has been super warm for the past week here in Denver (I'm talking t-shirt with no coat kind of warm), but I haven't felt well enough to go outside and enjoy it.  John has been super busy with school and work (I've been helping him with some of his at-home work), so we're hoping to do something fun this weekend.  The new movie The Princess & the Frog looks really cute, so we hope to take Johnny to it on Saturday.  I hope he is as quiet & well-behaved as the only other movie he's been to - Ice Age 3:Dawn of the Dinosaurs for his 2nd birthday this last summer.  Hope everyone else back home is healthy & doing well! We miss you all and we're looking forward to seeing you all again in March (God willing).  :) Love to all!

Oh my GOSH!!! Johnny looks sooo different in just a couple weeks! The picture of Johnny in the sunglasses and Johnny with the 3 binkies looks like a whole different child from the little guy we just saw a couple weeks ago! He is growing up way too fast! Love, Mom
